Well I was slow to start on the blog bandwagon w/my work stuff, but finally did that about 18 month ago! But I have yet to start a family blog! And the sad reason why: I DON'T have any pictures to share!! Honestly, I'm like the shoemaker whose children have no shoes! I take so many photos throughout the year, that I come home and put my camera in the closet!
Sadly, last year while trying to do my family's year in review photo book, I had less than 200 TOTAL photos for the year to choose from!!! I take 2-3 times that at an 1 hr photo shoot!
So I am going to put my point and shoot camera somewhere that I will see it and try to shoot more photos and actually download them!!!

A few lessons learned:
1) Don't force a child to be in photos when he is threatening to puke (aka Parker, hence the scowl)
2) I do MUCH better behind the camera then in front of it! Holy cow, I need some practice looking natural and NOT talking!!
3) Even if a picture isn't perfect- it captures our family and documents us! So while I wish I was younger and thinner and Parker was smiling, it is what it is and it's DONE!!!!)
4) The beach is a wonderful place!
